Is <strong>perfectionism<\/strong> helpful?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is this part of the reason why these athletes are great or is <strong>perfectionism<\/strong> a thorn in their side? The best athletes are able to parlay the advantages into shaping their greatness while managing the disadvantages that come with being a perfectionist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, athletes need to overcome the lure of \u201c<strong>perfectionism<\/strong>\u201d with logic. No athlete is perfect. The pressure to play a perfect game hurts your <strong>confidence<\/strong> and enjoyment for the sport.
