He tends to revert back to what is comfortable when playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The fact that you are taking a lot of lessons and not seeing improvement says that maybe you&#8217;re not using the lessons in a way that&#8217;s going to help you improve. You can teach old dogs new tricks. Being that, there is a special way you have to approach this. Based on your comments that after two weeks trying out the new lesson and working on the new lesson you don&#8217;t see any improvement and then you go back to what&#8217;s comfortable&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Here is the issue when learning something new, you tend to have to revert back into what we call a practice or training mindset. In other words you have to revert back to a beginning learner where it becomes very cognitive, you&#8217;re having to think about that move, you have to divert a lot of attention to changing old habits. That&#8217;s always the most difficult part for golfers making changes.
