
Mental Game and Performance Coach
Carolyne Lawley is a highly trained mental performance coach with Peak Performance Sports. She specializes in helping athletes enhance focus, confidence, and resilience under pressure. She earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Psychology from the University of North Texas. UNT is one of the leading programs in applied sport psychology.
She gained applied experience through the renowned Center for Sport Psychology and Athlete Mental Health at UNT. Here, graduate students work directly with NCAA Division I teams, local schools, professional athletes as well as esports and dance competitors. Established in 1998, the center is a national leader in applied sport psychology training.
A former collegiate basketball player and competitive track and field athlete, Carolyne also competed professionally in Europe for two years. This gave her a deep, first-hand understanding of the mental demands of high-level competition in sport.
Carolyne brings over a decade of combined experience as both an athlete, coach, and mental performance coach. She has coached basketball and track at the youth and high school levels. She now works with collegiate athletes across a range of sports, including basketball, track and field, softball, soccer, baseball, and football. Her coaching integrates proven sport psychology techniques with practical insights drawn from her competitive background.
Currently, Carolyne is completing her certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). She is also completing the Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) certification through Peak Performance Sports.
Carolyne is known for helping athletes break through mental barriers and perform at their peak when it matters most.
