The MGCP Program
I’ve has a lot of questions fly in from people who want to join the summer MGCP program. Here are the top questions I’m getting…
1. Does the MGCP program provide a step-by-step course that we could in turn provide for our athletes?
Yes, this is the *hidden* value of the MGCP program. You learn my step-by-step system for working with individual athletes and teams using the exact same tools I use with my students and groups.
2. How is the MGCP course conducted? Is the course done via teleconference?
Yes, we meet for 10 weekly two-hour sessions during the course live over the phone or teleconference. You can call in from anywhere in the world. You also download all MGCP documents via the internet.
3. As I am already certified by ICF (International Coach Federation), I am wondering what’s the benefit of taking your certification course?
The benefit of taking my course is you learn my complete system for helping athletes improve their mental game from assessment to mental game strategies to follow up sessions. I don’t teach you how to “coach.” I teach you how to assess and improve your athletes’ mental game.
4. What’s the difference in the two programs – self-paced vs. certification?
The self-paced program does not include the live classes (via teleconference), feedback on your homework or case studies, a final exam, video case studies, or final certification. The certification program is more complete because of the live interaction each week and the feedback you receive on your work.
5. If I am located in Europe, how does this influence the meeting time for the Teleconferences?
I try to accommodate everyone’s schedule. We usually meet within 10 AM to 2 PM eastern time so people in Europe can join the call at night.
6. When will the class start and what times of day and week will the Teleconference be held?
For the summer program, we’ll begin the first week of June. The specific meeting time depends on the participants schedules, but usually we’ll meet in the middle of the week during the day.
7. How much does the tuition cost?
The full cost of tuition is $4000 US. If you register early (May 8, 2009 for the summer program), you receive 10 percent off tuition, which reduces the fee to $3600 US. I know it’s a lot of money, but I fast track your knowledge in this are based on over 20 years of experience I’ve had.
8. Can you give me more details about the payment plans?
Yes, you can elect 4 or 6 month payments plans. They are evenly divided payments over the term. One note. You can’t get the full certification until all payments have been made.
A few facts about the summer MGCP certification program:
*We meet for 10 week for two hour per week over teleconference.
*You download most of the course materials via the website.
*You are required to complete 15 case studies and the final
*NEW: You have to record a session with one of your students
during the course so I can give you feedback.
*NEW: I have two video case studies I share with you based on a
group seminar and individual student I coached.

What are our students saying?
“WOW!!! What a week I had. I was able to perform with a confidence that allowed my style to shine through–no more entering the arena with that “deer in the headlights” look or feeling. I stopped evaluating myself while I was performing, and I actually left the arena after my patterns feeling like I had experienced a lot of fun. Thank you so much.”
