What is Mental Performance Coaching for Mountain Bike Racing?

Mountain bike racing mental performance coaching is one-on-one virtual training that helps riders overcome the mental barriers, such as fear on technical sections, hesitation after crashes, race anxiety, and the inability to ride with the same flow and aggression in races as in practice runs, that prevent them from competing to their potential. At Peak Performance Sports, certified mental performance coaches work with downhill, enduro, cross-country, and gravity discipline riders using the Athlete’s Mental Edge Framework and the Athlete’s Mental Aptitude Assessment (AMAP) to build a personalized mental game plan. Programs are available for amateur through elite level riders worldwide.
